Candidate Statement:
(In response to the question, "Please explain why you believe you are qualified for the judicial position for which you are
seeking election.")
I have experience in criminal and civil litigation, I have appeared in court as defense and prosecution. I have continued to learn while in this position as a municipal court judge despite having almost 18 years of experience. I will continue to learn for the rest of the time I am given on the bench. Despite being a member of the community, I have not created ties with any one group that would cause any party appearing in front of me to have any concerns about bias. I have the experience to know what this job actually entails on a daily basis and I am ready, willing and able to do those task.
