Candidate Statement:

(In response to the question, "Please explain why you believe you are qualified for the judicial position for which you are seeking election.")

Having been elected to an unexpired term in 2020, I am currently running for re-election to my current seat for a full-term. I am unopposed. In my first 18 months on the bench, in addition to successfully managing both my criminal and civil docket, I also did the work to create and launch the first Mental Health Specialty Docket in the Franklin Co. Ct. of Common Pleas, General Division. This docket is now up and running and we are fully engaged in serving our participants, while making the community safer for everyone.

Also, after having served just over a year on the bench, I received a 4.23 rating in the CBA Judicial Performance Poll - placing me, numerically, in third place among all of the members of my bench. I am very proud to have earned such high marks from those who practice before me this early in my judicial tenure.

I look forward to serving the residents of Franklin County for another six years!
