Candidate Statement:

(In response to the question, "Please explain why you believe you are qualified for the judicial position for which you are seeking election.")

It is my goal to serve the public by adjudication matters in controversy and rendering decisions based on the facts as they apply to the law controlling the case in an impartial and objective manner. I feel very fortunate in my current position as attorney and counselor to hundreds of clients who directly, and indirectly, impact the economic future of Franklin County. I see myself, however, sitting as a trier of fact and hearing both sides of the issues and applying the law accordingly. As an adjunct professor, I enjoy being in a position to help and teach others. Being on the Bench will provide me the outlet to give back to the community and my profession
