Legal Experience:

  • Ohio Attorney General's Office (Assistant Attorney General) - Litigated cases around the State of Ohio; handled numerous expert & lay witness depositions, jury trials, bench trials, argued before the Court of Appeals & Ohio Supreme Court
  • Franklin County Common Pleas Court Domestic Relations & Juvenile (Teen Court Hearing Officer) - part time hearing officers for the Court's Teen Court Diversion program
  • Perez & Morris - Litigated civil matters as defense counsel at the administrative and trial court levels
  • Franklin County Common Pleas Court General Division - (Judicial Staff Attorney) Researched and drafted decisions, handled pre-trial conferences & assisted in docket management
  • Stroud Law Offices - Represented children and parents in Domestic Relations & Juvenile matters in Franklin and Licking counties as attorney as well as GAL
  • Franklin County Common Pleas Court Domestic Relations & Juvenile (Lead Magistrate) Preside over cases and serve as Lead Magistrate to oversee the department, chair Court committees, serve as a judicial officer over the Empowerment Docket, serve the community by speaking and volunteering at schools and civic organizations to share information about the Court.

(In response to the question, "Please explain why you believe you are qualified for the judicial position for which you are seeking election.")

I am qualified to serve for the judicial position for which I am seeking election based on my experience, compassion, passion for families and overall commitment to the mission of DRJ Court. My body of work demonstrates that I have the ability and qualifications to effectively fulfill the requirements of the office and serve in excellence. I am active in court committees and consistently go beyond the call of duty to serve as the Lead Magistrate. I am knowledgeable about the mission of DRJ Court and have consistently served families in Franklin County in DRJ Court for over a decade. If elected, I am able to assume the role and fulfill the duties without any delays in justice.
